Manchester State Park, Manchester, CA

Prior to forming BioConsultant, Kim Fitts and Derek Marshall developed the Manchester State Park Habitat Protection and Restoration Plan.  The 581 hectare park was surveyed for the endangered mountain beaver, rare and endangered plants, and exotic plant species marked for removal.  Management guidelines for the campgrounds and trails were addressed.  

The SSU GIS Lab, headed by Ross Meentemeyer and assistant Roy Jackson, along with special consultant Derek Marshall , also developed a working GIS for the Park's future management.  Special thanks to Mike Hearty, Site Administrator.
